About Cynthia Stringer

Cynthia Stringer Cynthia has worked with professionals and business owners since before 1990. She is known for her ability to assess situations quickly and efficiently and design with her clients a constructive and powerful plan of action. Clients report feeling more clarity, motivation, and confidence in creating their professional and personal environments. By doing this it generates powerful and effective results.  

As an executive coach and trainer, Cynthia is committed to enhancing people's ability to take action towards their goals and intentions. Ms. Stringer has co-written a workbook on Assessing Communication Effectiveness and is instrumental in creating strategic alliances among groups and individuals.  

Cynthia is a member of Business & Professional Women and the National Speakers Association. She is a Professional Certified Coach (P.C.C.) with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Certified Mentor Coach (C.M.C.). Cynthia is a forerunner in the coaching profession being a spokesperson for the media and those interested in starting a coaching practice. As the Midwest Regional Coordinator for 15 ICF Chapters and the Founding ICF Chapter President for Chicago she is instrumental in bringing diverse coaches together for professional development and networking.  

She received her degree in Organizational Development Psychology from Sonoma State University in California. Her personal philosophy is based on increasing personal power by way of enhancing and deepening one's integrity and values.  

Her clients include people with key managerial roles such as at the National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse, Deloitte Consulting, Arthur Andersen Worldwide, Greater Chicago Group, Andersen Consulting, AIDS Foundation, Northern Trust Bank, Coach 21, as well as high profile entrepreneurs.  

Cynthia has been featured in the Chicago Tribune numerous times for her work with Professional Coaching and has been interviewed for radio programs and publications. Most recently, she was featured in an article entitled 'Business Coaching Catches On' in the Small Business section of Crain's Business Chicago. Cynthia is a Certified TeleClass Leader with Coach University and a Certified Professional Coach. She is currently developing a booklet entitled 'Elegance From Within' and a training and self-study program on Integrity.

 
The International Coach Federation (ICF), an organization which establishes industry standards to insure the highest level of professionalism, awarded Cynthia its certification of Professional Coach. With this designation she enters a select group of worldwide professional coaches who have met ICF criteria. Ms. Stringer was evaluated in areas such as professional representation, training standards, experience, and client feedback.
